I am writing with deepest regret that a lovely home-birthing, home-schooling family who have been clients and dear friends for the past 14 years has suffered the loss of their husband/father to suicide this week.  The stay-at-home mother/wife survives with four precious children and no financial resources.  Please pray for the surviving family members and if you are able, consider a donation of any amount as an outpouring of love from the home birth community to this deeply wounded family.  If a monetary gift is not possible, a note of encouragement or love-offering of time to help during the coming years will be cherished.  If you wish to send a card and/or contribution, I will collect them at my office and present them as a whole to the family sometime after the funeral and immediate chaos begins to settle.  Please contact me at svandenput@countrymidwife.com if you wish to send something.  Thank you kindly,
